He has not bowled in any match since back surgery. Hardik Pandya did not bowl at all in IPL 2020. However, he scored 281 with the bat.
Pandya is thinking about T20 world
There is still time left for next year’s T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, Pandya has indicated that he wants to start bowling keeping in mind the big tournament.
He said, “We are thinking ahead. We are thinking about the T20 World Cup and other important tournaments, where my bowling will be more important. I am working on my bowling. When the time is right, Then I will come back. ”

Meanwhile, Indian captain Kohli said, “Unfortunately, a player like Hardik is not yet ready to bowl, we have to accept, we don’t have any other all-round option at the moment.”
He added, “There is a need to focus on this, it is an important part of any team’s balance. Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell are putting some overs for Australia, which is helping them.”
Pandya missed his first ODI century
The Indian bowlers proved expensive in the first ODI played in Sydney, as a result of which Australia gave a big target of 375 runs. Virat Kohli used only five bowlers in this match, as Pandya is not yet fit enough to bowl.
On the other hand, Pandya played an aggressive knock of 90 runs in 76 balls. However, he missed his first ODI century by just 10 runs. India lost by 66 runs.
