It can be launched in the Indian market in early 2021. However, no official announcement regarding the launch date has been made by the company yet.
There will be many changes in the interior
The Honda City hatchback is built on the sedan platform itself. Along with this, most of the body panels of the car have also been taken from sedans.
Apart from this, blacked out grille and dark chrome finish has been given to give it a sporty look.
The Honda City hatchback has 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the car is almost the same as a sedan. Despite this, many changes will be seen in it.
Engine is very strong
Like the City Generation of the New Generation, the Honda City hatchback also gets a sleek black out grille with a honeycomb pattern and a strong bonnet.
In addition, this car is equipped with black out by pillars and body colored ORVM.
It has a 1.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine, which gives power of 120bhp and maximum torque of 173nm. The engine has a six-speed manual and CTV gearbox.
The cabin is equipped with many features
The Honda City hatchback has five seats with automatic climate control, cruise control, paddle shifter and multifunctional steering wheel.
The cabin also has an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with Bluetooth, Android Auto.
For safety it also has several airbags, speed sensing auto door lock, emergency signal system, cornering vehicle stability assistance along with balance control system and parking camera.
What is the price?
The company has not yet given information about its price. However, according to some media reports, it can be launched in the Indian market with an initial price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
