This year, Mahindra and Mahindra XUV 500 (facelift) will launch their popular SUV Scorpio in a new avatar after launching in India early next year.
The company may launch it in the Indian market in mid-2021.
The new Mahindra Scorpio will get a sporty look. Along with this, it will be equipped with many facilities.

There will be seven seats in the cabin
According to earlier reports, the Scorpio facelift launched in 2021 will get a luxurious cabin. It will have a seating area of seven people. Not only this, the cabin will be equipped with features such as sun roof and power steering wheel.
Also, keeping in mind the safety of passengers, the company will provide several airbags, crash sensors and a rear view camera.
Apart from this, it will have a touchscreen infotainment panel supporting Android Auto.
2,680mm will be wheelbase
The 2021 Scorpio will be built on the chassis on which the Thar launched this year.
It will have a vertical slat grill, muscular bonnet and a large air vent.
Along with this, the upcoming SUV will be fitted with round projector headlights and vertical place tail lamps for better lighting.
It will be equipped with B pillars, ORVM and alloy or steel wheels. Its wheelbase will be 2,680mm and ground clearance 180mm.
The new Scorpio will get a strong engine
The company will offer two engine options in its popular SUV Scorpio facelift.
It will be given a 2.2-liter diesel engine meeting BS6 standards, which will be capable of delivering 132bhp of power and 300nm of torque for the car to start.
At the same time, its 2.0-liter petrol engine will give 152bhp power and 300nm torque with manual gearbox and 320nm torque with automatic gearbox.
What will be the price?
The company has not given any information about the price of Mahindra Scorpio to be launched in April and June next year. However, according to reports, it can be launched between Rs 10-14 lakh.
