This time the holy festival of Chhath Puja is to be celebrated on 20 November. On this day people make many types of dishes in the form of Prasad, but Thekua is the most prominent dish of this festival.
Arghya is offered to Suryadev from Thekua and it is later distributed as Prasad.
Let us then tell you today how you can easily make delicious Thekua at home.
These things will be needed
1) One and half cup semolina
2) One and half cup maida
3) 125 grams sugar powder
4) One-fourth cup dry coconut (grated)
5) One fourth dry coconut (finely chopped)
6) a cup of milk
7) One fourth cup of Desi Ghee
8) One teaspoon fennel powder
9) One tablespoon raisins
10) Half teaspoon cardamom powder
note: If you want, you can reduce or increase the amount of materials according to your mind.
Prepare dough for the way
First put semolina, maida, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, fennel powder, raisins, coconut powder, finely chopped coconut and ghee in a large vessel and mix them well.
Now add a little milk to this mixture and make a hard dough. It would be better if you rub the mixture thoroughly with the palm, so that the dough can gather properly.
You have to make a very hard and light dry dough by kneading it.
Design the way this way
Now take a little bit of dough out of the dough and make a round or long dough into it as you want. After that, place the dough on the mold and apply a little pressure on it with your hands and make the design as you want.
If you do not have a mold, you can also design the Thekua with the help of a spoon at home.
Give the same design to the rest of them.

To fry the theses, first place the pan on medium flame and heat the oil in it.
When the oil is hot, then put the sticks in it and fry them till they turn golden brown.
