BJP President’s convoy was attacked while going to Diamond Harbor

TMC denied the allegations
These were denied by TMC leaders, reacting to the allegations of BJP leaders.
TMC leader Madan Mitra denied his party’s role in the attack, saying “his own goons are involved in the violence.”
Firhad Hakim, a minister in the Mamta government, said, “BJP brings people from outside to West Bengal and the state government is not even informed about it.” Similarly, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called it a gimmick.
Law and order situation in the state has deteriorated for a long time – Governor
The Home Ministry had sought a detailed report from Governor Jagdeep Dhankad in the case. After this, the Governor had sent a report saying that the law and order situation in the state has been bad for a long time.
She said that the Chief Minister has to follow the Constitution and she cannot be dissuaded from it.
Not only this, he also accused senior officials of not submitting timely reports and not making adequate arrangements for the safety of Nadda.
Chief Secretary and DGP were summoned after the Governor’s report
After receiving the report of Governor Dhankar, the Home Ministry summoned the Chief Secretary and DGP to Delhi on 14 December, but now the government has refused to send them to Delhi. The Chief Secretary has informed the Ministry by sending a letter to it.
Chief Secretary explained the reason for not coming to Delhi
In a letter sent by the Chief Secretary to Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, the state government has directed him to request a meeting on 14 December without the presence of West Bengal officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs. In such a situation, he and DGP will not be able to come to Delhi.
In the case of the attack on Nadda’s convoy, he wrote that the state is resolving the issue with all seriousness. Action will be taken soon.
Chief Secretary gave this clarification in the letter
The Chief Secretary told in the letter that the state government had made strong security arrangements for the visit of Nadda. He was also awarded a bullet proof car for the Z-class security.
Apart from this, four Superintendents of Police, eight Deputy Superintendents, 14 Inspectors, 70 Sub Inspectors, 40 Rapid Action Forces, 259 Constables and 350 other Security Forces were deployed under the supervision of DIG. Three cases have been registered in this regard.
Seven people have been arrested in the case
Chief Secretary informed that now seven accused have been arrested. The search for other accused is also on. He also said that the state government itself is taking this issue seriously and has given instructions for action.
