A sensational case of suicide by consuming pesticides with two sons of parents has been reported in Ponnampet area under Ampapet in Salem district of Tamil Nadu.
Police reached the information, broke the door and entered the house and brought the four bodies to the hospital for postmortem.
The police then interrogated nearby people and tried to find out the cause of suicide. The inspection of the matter is going on.
Neighbor had informed the police about the incident
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Chandrasekaran said the dead included V Murugan (38), his wife Gokila (35) and sons Karthik (12) and Vasanth Kumar (15).
They told that the four had consumed pesticides at night. This led to his death. When the door did not open in the morning, the neighbor climbed the wall of the house and saw the bodies of all four lying on the floor. The neighbor then informed the police.

DCP said that on information, he along with other police officers reached the spot and questioned the people.
Meanwhile, the policemen broke the door and entered the house and brought the four to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead. After this, the bodies were sent for postmortem.
He said that no suicide note has been found on the spot. In such a situation, the police has registered a case in Marg and investigation of the case is going on.
Suicide due to sadness of elder son’s death
The DCP stated that the deceased couple had three sons. The eldest son of these, Madhavan Kumar (17), died of cancer three months ago. The couple was deeply shocked by his death.
Police suspect that the couple committed suicide by consuming pesticides along with their two other sons, saddened by the elder son’s death. He said that other people of the area are also being questioned.
Unhappy youth commits suicide in Rajasthan
Similarly, in Dausa district of Rajasthan, a 24-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from a trap in a Shiva temple, unhappy with unemployment.
According to the police, the deceased’s youth has been identified as Rahul Navariya, a resident of Khatikan Mohalla. People found his body hanging from a noose in the temple.
Police reached the information after postmortem of the dead body and handed it over to the family. No suicide note has been found by chance.
