  • The legendary auto giant Tata is preparing to launch the i Turbo variants of its popular hatchback car Ultros in the country.

    It will be launched in the Indian market on 13 January. Before the launch, information about its features etc. has been revealed.

    The upcoming new Tata Altrose will get a larger and updated cabin as well as a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. Also a new variant XZ + will also be available.

  • The Tata Ultra i turbo hatchback will get a sliding roofline, honeycomb patterned grille with black out and wide air vents.

    Along with this, the car will be fitted with black out B pillars, ORVM and alloy wheels.

    At the same time, this new hatchback car for lighting will feature projector headlamps and wrap-around taillights.

    It can be launched in Harbor Blue, Downtown Red, High Street Gold, Avenue White and Midtown Gray color options.

  • In this new variant too, five leather seats will be given in light brown color like the current variants. Also, the cabin will be equipped with a four-speaker Harman audio system and power steering wheel.

    Not only this, the car will feature a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment console supporting ‘Intelligent Real Time Assist’ (iRA) connected car technology.

    It will also have other facilities including several airbags and a parking camera for the safety of passengers.

  • Tata’s upcoming new i Turbo Ultra will feature a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine meeting BS6 standards, capable of generating a maximum power of 110bhp and maximum torque of 140nm for the car to start.

    It can also be launched in a 1.5-liter diesel engine.

    The engine will come with a five-speed manual and DCT gearbox.

    It will also get two riding modes City and Sport riding modes.

  • Its price will be announced at the time of launching. However, according to the news, it will launch at Rs 30,000-70,000 more than the current standard variant. Currently, the Tata Ultrose is priced at Rs 5.44. It will compete with Honda Jazz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno etc.
